1997 Lexus LX 450

For sale is an 1997 Lexus LX 450. This is the Lexus variant of the 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser. 1997 is the last year of the 80 series and the 40th anniversary of the Land Cruiser! This cruiser is in good shape and ready to become the adventure rig you've been dreaming of. The rig currently has 216xxx miles and has had a slew of maintenance in recent years including a head gasket service, pesky heater hose replacement, birfield seals, (swivel hubs) injector seals, and brakes including new rear calipers and rotors. The rig also has a fresh Sherpa rack installed along with a set of new Falken at4w tires in a 285/75r16. The tires are wrapped around a set of Toyota Land Cruiser wheels with Lexus center caps but I do have the original Lexus wheels I'd be happy to include but they have some pitting. I've tried to highlight the couple of "bad" spots on this cruiser in the photos. The front passenger fender has clear coat failure, the back window has some bubbling starting in the bottom driver corner, and theres a dent that someone attempted to fix poorly on the rear passenger quarter. I have gotten a quote to fix the dent and the clear coat and could help the new owner get it done. Overall the rig is very rust free aside from those little bubbles on the window frame shown. As for the interior, the front seats cracked as usual with leather 80 series. I do have a set of Carhartt seat covers from covercraft on order but they have yet to arrive. I'm happy to include them in the sale if you want them or I can hold onto them for a future car too. Aside from those, the rest of the seats are in great shape. I have a set of trim to fit weather tech floor mats in the rig right now but I do have the factory cloth Lexus mats that will come with the car as well. Windshield is good with no cracks or chips. All wood grain is in great shape with 0 peel. These rigs are a blast and what made me personally fall in love with Land Cruisers as a whole. Listed by The Dirt Tourist DLR #190. Asking $13,000 OBO.
