1976 Toyota Land Cruiser

For sale is a 1976 Toyota Land Cruiser. This late model 40 is quite the survivor and is a blast to drive. Everyone and their grandma wants to give you a thumbs up when you pass by. This car is largely very original, the body is what you see is what you get, the bottom of the tub is largely rust free, the rear sil is rusty and I've included detailed photos of the rust on the bottoms of the doors as well. The current engine came out of a 1984 60 series. There is no smog, and it currently runs on a factory carb that was gone through. True miles are of course unknown with a 5 digit odometer. The speedo currently does not spin, one of the cables needs replaced is what I was told. The temp gauge can tend to have a mind of its own around the middle of the gauge but with a temp gun everything holds steady in the engine bay. Oil pressure, voltage meter, and fuel gauge all seem to be accurate. The wipers currently do not work either. All lights work as they should. The top comes off with ease and a soft top is included as well. The seats both could use some love below the covers. All this said, yes this vehicle is still somewhat of a project, but it is a running and driving late model 40 that can run down the highway with the same amount of ease that it can put around town. I also have a tailgate plate for when the top is off. The original paint is full of character and the patina on this thing as a whole is pretty awesome.
