1988 Toyota Land Cruiser

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser

For sale is 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser. This Land Cruiser is a FJ62 and touts the 3FE engine paired to an automatic transmission. Much like the earlier FJ60, these cars still have a classic wagon styling but have essentially been brought into the 21st century with fuel injection, power windows, and power locks. The FJ62 had a small production window here in the states from 1988 to 1990. This particular car has a long history with one family (since 1999) and has been passed along a few family members until the current owner took possession in 2018. Currently the car has just under 173k miles. This car is by no means perfect and does have some dings and dents but all in all it is a very honest FJ62 and has no real rust to speak of. The car spent most of its life in California, even the rear C channels in the frame are clean and not swollen as you can see in the photos. The truck currently sits on a set of 33” Falken Wildpeak AT4W (255/85r17) tires wrapped around a set of FJ Cruiser steelies. It is also sitting on a 2” OME lift with medium duty leaf springs. These are fit with a set of 1” spacers to meet the body for proper fitment. In the last 10k miles, the water pump and drive belts have been replaced along with the thermostat, thermostat housing, and radiator hoses. The interior of this car is clean and the dash is crack free which is quite impressive. The seats are all in good shape aside from the wear shown on the drivers seat. Even the AC blows icy cold. If you’ve been on the hunt for a clean 60 series Land Cruiser to build, this is a great candidate for you. Of course with the age, these are becoming harder and harder to find in good condition. This car is not only in good cosmetic shape but also is ready to be a daily driver mechanically. This car is being listed on commission by The Dirt Tourist DLR #190. Clean title in hand, asking $22,500 OBO. Feel free to ask away with any questions, request more photos or videos, or schedule a test drive. Thanks for taking a look!
